Eastwood Music Group & Josey Records are honored to present the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the movie Shithouse, the 2020 Grand Jury Prize Winner for Narrative Feature at SXSW 2020, which was quickly picked up for release on October 16th by IFC Films.

Written, directed & produced by Cooper Raiff from Dallas, Shithouse is a coming-of-age story about a college freshman and the angst of not quite being able to leave home. That all changes with a night at party fraternity Shithouse and his magical encounter with his Resident Advisor, Maggie, played by Dylan Gelula.

The soundtrack to any movie can be transcendent. Would Fast Times at Ridgemont High or Garden State be the same movies without the songs that helped define them? Shithouse includes several songs by indie artist and frequent Raiff-collaborator 0fret, with the song Walk All Over Me featuring breakout actress Abby Quinn, as well as selections by indie-folk luminaries (Sandy) Alex G & Waxahatchee and punk duo Girlpool. Rounding out the album are John Dufilho’s 80’s homage Why Are You Lost?, Cure For Paranoia’s indie-pop Ain’t A Thing and Nick Das’ beat instrumental Eight.

Vinyl LP and CD contain the bonus track Southern Sky by (Sandy) Alex G.
